Summary

I decided to take Google’s new NotebookLM (https://notebooklm.google) for a spin in order to generate a quick 10min podcast instead of writing an article today. The good news is that the podcast actually sounds pretty good. The bad news is that I am very concerned that there will be a flood of similar generated content on the internet. I guess this leads to a deeper philosophical question about whether or not AI generated content is inherently better/worse than content created by real people. Maybe that will be a topic for a future post.

Anyways, for a bit more background, I did do *some* work for this post: I curated the sources of information and fed them to NotebookLM in order to have it generate this podcast. Enjoy! (And try not to let the existential dread overwhelm you…)
